Diclazepam Powder, (chlorodiazepam) is the short name for 7-chloro-5-(2-chlorophenyl)-1-methyl-1,3-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one and can be considered both to be the 2′-chloro analogue of diazepam or the 1-methyl analogue of Delorazepam. This chemical is a novel research chemical and is not currently subject to any licensing controls or regulations in the UK when used for laboratory research and development purposes.
It is an analogue of the sedative diazepam (Valium), it is a benzodiazepine drug with, among others, hypnotic, sedative, and anxiolytic properties. Part of the tranquiliser class.
Diclazepam is also available in pellet form, and can be used as a substitute for etizolam in comparable study conditions.
